After all the effort exerted to book our honeymoon flights yesterday, I was really in the mood for something basic and simple this morning. What’s more basic than primary colors? I tend to shy away from a lot of color at once–I’m more of a “pop of color” kind of girl–but a lot of color at once is just more “pop,” right? ;)

Before I get to the rest of today’s getup, I need to draw your attention to the bright blue oversized watch. It’s a find from my best friend, Erica. It was–and still is (!!) $15 on Piperlime. The best part? Piperlime offers free shipping on any item! Today was my first time wearing the watch, and I’m already obsessed. This girl loves a good deal. (Note: it also comes in purple, which I think is equally adorable!)

Anyway. Today I’m wearing my favorite cobalt Paige Verdugo Jeggings. If you haven’t tried Paige Verdugo, you must. These are a tad bit loose, but my other pair–in hot pink, of course–fits like a dream. They’re so soft that they kind of feel like leggings. Paige can be a bit on the expensive side, but Target offers a ton of great colored skinny jeans. (Click here for my review on them!) The J Brand version of the cobalt jeans can be found here, the Kate Spade version can be found here, and an even cheaper option can be found here.

My JPK Paris bag is another one of my staples. I find it to be very similar to the Longchamp Le Pliage, but a bit smaller and dressier. The fun part about this bag is that when you order it, you never know what interior pattern you’ll get. My inside is patterned with hot pink flowers, but my mom’s bag, soon-to-be mother-in-law’s bag, and cousin’s bag all have different interior patterns.

The Gap coat is from college, I think. I recently found it in my closet at my parents’ house (they graciously haven’t thrown all my stuff out yet… but really should ;)) and decided to give it a whirl. It’s fun breaking out really old articles of clothing that you completely forgot you had! Makes them feel kind of new. The oldie was perfect for today because I needed a jacket that was on the neutral side. Even I have my limits. ;) (If you’re looking for a toggle coat before the season ends, act quick! Splurge here and save here.)
