Tuckernuck Kenzo Dress (Striped Version Here. Velvet Version Here. All variations here!) / Loeffler Randall Leonie Ballet Flat (Also available via Tuckernuck.)
Another classic, versatile piece is the Tuckernuck Kenzo Dress. I wear it with the comfiest ballet flats ever for casual days, and pumps or over-the-knee boots for dressier occasions. It’s tiered—so it’s very forgiving, yet because of the crepe material, it falls in the most flattering way. (It is NOT shaped like a tent!)
Tuckernuck carries so many variations of the Kenzo Dress, and I have to admit that I own four. 🙈 (The black crepe, navy crepe, cotton striped, and black velvet.) But I guess that proves just how awesome I feel it is. 😉 The crepe material makes it wrinkle-resistant, too, which means that it’s extraordinarily packable. Throw it in your suitcase and simply throw it on when you get to your destination; ironing or steaming likely not needed!
In regard to sizing, I am usually between two sizes. So I ordered both, and went with the larger one since they looked nearly identical aside from length. (I’m 38, so the extra length that came with the larger size was nice!)
Highly recommend. A dress that’ll be in your closet for years! I know mine has. :)
