Anthropologie Colette Skirt / J.Crew Suede Sandals / Newer J.Crew Factory Tank / Similar Mini Leather Backpack
Hey, hey Friends!
Let’s ignore the elephant in the room in that I’m suddenly in this space again and just focus on the adorable dog to the right of me in the above photo. Threw my phone at Mitch while we were in Brooklyn recently and was like, “pretend outfit photo please!” But since we have this outfit photo, might as well share five easy end-of-summer looks that I’m relying on these days. 😆
Look 1 highlights
Anthropologie Colette Skirt: First up is the Colette Skirt, part of Anthropologie’s Colette collection. There are a lot of patch pocket skirts and pants out there, but no one makes this style better than Anthro in terms of fit and comfort.
J.Crew Factory Tank: I bought a couple of these while in California recently because I didn’t pack enough tops. Looking at it now, I think mine is slightly different, haha. But the look is essentially the same; such a great staple for an insane price! (Use code “EXTRA60.”)
Reversible Alex Mill Striped Sweater (You can wear it as a crewneck or a cardigan! Just turn it around. The true cardigan is linked here.) / Skinny Jeans (My skinnies are old but I swear by Madewell’s Roadtripper line!) / Wrinkle-Resistant Tee

This Alex Mill cardigan is always selling out. But did you know that the crewneck sweater is reversible, and can be worn as a cardigan as well?! It’s a classic little two-in-one piece that’ll remain in your closet forever. I always go a size up in Alex Mill as I think you want that slightly oversized look. :)
Anthropologie Colette Jeans / Tuckernuck Striped Popover / Quince Sweater Blazer / Cuyana Leather Tote / Similar White Belt / Similar Pointed Ballet Flats

Anthropologie Colette Jeans: If you loved Anthropologie’s Colette skirt, you are SURE to love the Colette jeans. Most of them feature a cropped, wide leg yet are fitted around the hips making for a very flattering cut and put-together look. They’re also wonderfully soft and comfy. Every time I wear them, someone—often times Emma’s friends 😂—compliment me on them! They’re the perfect capsule wardrobe piece that somehow is both a staple and a statement-maker. (I find them to run slightly large and typically go down a size!)
Similar Square Neck Top / Newer Version of White Jeans / J.Crew Suede Sandals / Amazon Earrings / Clear Concert Crossbody / J.Crew Suede Sandals

Mark and Graham’s clear bags: They’re the best. They’re designed to meet stadium regulations for concerts and sporting events, and let me tell you: this particular one has never caused me a single problem! It’s so nice going into a venue and not having to worry.
J.Crew Suede Sandals: I live in these block heel sandals during the summer as I can walk miles in them in the city. They’re wonderfully comfy. Unfortunately, my pair is from 2017 and J.Crew no longer carries them, haha. And devastatingly, I recently got caught in a downpour in the brown ones, and they got completely destroyed. I still have my pair in black, but ugh, my most-worn pair was the brown. I did find a brown pair on Poshmark, thank heavens! And J.Crew Factory actually has a wildly similar suede wedge sandal out right now which I think I should try because I’m insane.
Draper James Floral Dress / Draper James Sandals / Amazon Earrings / Similar Mini Leather Backpack

Mini Leather Backpack: Backpacks are having a moment and I’m loving it. My mini leather backpack is a vintage Coach—one of my best thrifted finds ever!—but Quince’s version is outstanding and such a good deal. I love that it keeps me totally hands-free and that it’s large enough to carry a camera while taking the weight off my shoulder. Though as you can see, I might need a larger one. 😆
