What Should I Wear to Lollapalooza?

Here’s my situation:

I’m not a Lollapalooza girl. I’ve tried it before and it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Which is funny, as I spent the majority of my high school days seeing tiny emo bands play in New York and Philadelphia. (Good times, John Cifelli.)

However, Ryan Adams is playing Lollapalooza this year… and when Ryan Adams comes to Chicago, I do everything in my power to see him. (If you remember this post, I seriously want to be your best friend. And if you don’t, please don’t read it, as you’ll likely no longer want to follow this blog, haha.)

So we’re going. And I need to figure out what to wear, because my usual preppy attire just isn’t going to cut it. This, apparently, is the kind of stuff that Lollapalooza goers wear. HELP!

Anyway, I ran down to Nordstrom the other day to try on outfits. These were my faves.
