Visiting The Chanler at Cliffwalk in Newport

One of my favorite parts of our trip to Rhode Island was visiting The Chanler at Cliff Walk, a gorgeous seaside hotel in Newport. We went for late afternoon hot chocolates, which The Chanler is known for, and had such a great time exploring the grounds, too. I mean, can you get over how stunning everything is?!

(Click on the website, too, to see the hotel in all its glory. We obviously went during off-season, as we thought traveling after baby this spring/summer would be too tough. But goodness; SO STUNNING.)

As its name suggests, The Chanler is right on the Cliff Walk, which Newport is famous for. Stroll along this path, which runs alongside the ocean, and see some of the city’s most beautiful houses. The hotel is also next to Easton Beach, which is a great place to take the family. One thing that’s definitely on my bucket list is going back to Newport in the summer and eating outside at The Café on the terrace, which is open seasonally.

J.Crew Eyelet Blouse

I’ve been living in this blouse. I have it in all three colors because it’s the only somewhat fancy top that looks okay on me right now, at 32 weeks pregnant. ;) It’s truly flattering on everyone–even preggos!–and I can’t recommend it more. That said, it runs big! If you’re pregnant, order your usual size or one size up… and if you’re not, go one or two sizes down. Btw: I ALSO love this similar one and this one, too. I was SO happy when I found these beauties because I think they look just like Chanels! They run TTS, and in true Cole Haan style, they’re amazingly comfortable.
