Back to School! It’s just around the corner for us, as wild at that is. When I was growing up, school started after Labor Day—but here, depending on the school, start dates can be as early as mid-August. The nice thing is that both Emma and Lucy are already excited about going back. They miss their friends, their teachers, and the fun activities they get to do together.
Cute story: On the first day of summer break, Emma told me that she had the “best dream”: that it was August, and she was going back to school. 😭
We always team up with Walmart around this time to feature great styles and brands that parents and kids will love. Think mix and match classic pieces and fantastic value. An easy shopping experience—whether in-person or online—is the icing on the cake!
My friend Natalie (the one who moved to Florida 😢) and I were recently talking about Walmart because she’s been going multiple times per week. (In all fairness, there’s one that has a grocery store in it very close to her new home in Naples. 😆) And we both were kind of jumping up and down talking about the Free Assembly—as you know, a Larkin Family favorite—and Wonder Nation kids’ lines.
They’re amazing. We’ve had these denim jumpers for two years now and they’re still in rotation because they’re so soft and versatile; we can’t get enough of these rainbow sneakers (we own both the new and old versions!); and we utilize the school uniform section of the site on the reg. And the school supplies offering? Between the savings and the one-stop shopping experience, you just can’t beat it.
