Yesterday, my parents came over to see the wedding photos. (I’m very lucky that I get to see my parents extremely frequently. My dad works down in the Financial District, and my mom jumps at any chance to come into the city! She lived on the Upper East Side when she was my age, and loved every second of it.) Over wine and cheese, we looked at the photos for more than two hours–so fun! I can’t wait to share them with you. (I’m thinkin’ tomorrow? :)) After the photos, we headed to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Times Square, and I had one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had. I don’t even like bacon, but the steakhouse’s thick slabs?! Holy moly.

In other news, my illness (i.e., plague) has morphed into laryngitis. Haha! I can barely get a word out. But I feel so much better! Today was the first day I was able to wander around the city without nearly fainting. Feels good to be back! (Thanks for all your well wishes, by the way! :))
