A couple of weeks ago, I attended a Maison Jules x The EveryGirl dinner at Mon Ami Gabi, one of the loveliest restaurants in Lincoln Park. (Located across the street from where these photos were taken.)
What a night. I’d never been to the restaurant before, and had been dying to try the French menu I’d heard so many rave about. (Totally lived up to my expectations, by the way! Next time you’re in Chicago, go. Everything is perfect, from the food to the ambiance.) But I also really loved getting to know Maison Jules, a Parisian street style-inspired clothing line carried at Macy’s.
The brand is beyond adorable–I mean, how cute is this dress?!–and it’s super affordable. Most dresses, for example, are priced between $35 and $80. And they’re so soft and comfortable. I also have this little striped number and this polka dot-printed popover dress, and I find myself reaching for them again and again. (Doesn’t hurt that they don’t wrinkle easily! #carefreesummers)
Switching gears, tomorrow is going to be a BUSY day. I’m shooting a fun project for Rent the Runway (which will be running on the blog in the next few days), finishing up a bunch of freelance projects, cleaning the house, and hosting a little dinner party. So fun! But it’s off to bed for me. :)
Side notes:
- Shop my favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before it’s too late. (The sale ends August 3rd!)
- Have you seen Maya’s recent blog redesign? Way to go, Girl!
- I’m pretty sure I need these in my life. Swoon! ;)

That is such a cute dress! I will definitely check them out next time in Macy’s, it sounds like their pieces are really affordable (plus Macy’s always has coupons too!).

Such a fun print on that dress! I also had fun at a Maison Jules event a couple months ago where they took me and some bloggers to a broadway show. Wish you could’ve been there. :(
