Happy Friday, guys!
Getting posts up in the morning has lately been a struggle for me. On Wednesday, Jess, Shaheen, Mitch and I visited Tommy Bahama on Michigan Avenue for an upcoming project, and then–oops–went out afterwards. And last night, we attended this beautiful dinner at Nico Osteria for the new fall line by Kendra Scott (which is gorgeous), and then–oops–went out afterwards. (Minus Mitch. He was responsible, haha.)
So much fun, but… let’s just say I’m not 21 anymore, and the “no sleep” thing hits me much harder than it used to. Sheesh. ;)
Needless to say, I’m planning on taking it easy this weekend, and spending a whole lot of time relaxing by the water. (Eighty-four degrees tomorrow! And 77 on Sunday! Hello, summer. Thanks for finally coming to Chicago.)
And this navy maxi dress, while also perfect for a beachy wedding, is what I’m wearing. I obviously love the navy, but I also love that it has belt hoops. I went with a metallic belt, but I think I’m going to swap it out for a navy-and-white ribbon this weekend. ;)
Need help with sizing for the dress? I’m about 5’4 and typically wear a size 00 or 0 in dresses, but I’m wearing the size 4 in this one. I didn’t have to get it hemmed or taken in, either, which was very nice. (Because let’s be serious. I go to the tailor like twice every year.)
