Saturday was, in short, a fabulous day. For the first time in a long, long time, it was warm in New York! Huzzah. Mitch and I spent the super-sunny morning wandering around Hoboken with coffees in hand. That’s where these photos were taken. :) Oh, by the way, note the mint pumps that I am wearing (and wore in the blog’s previous post, haha). Notice anything different? In today’s pictures, the heels are accompanied by adorable gold patent leather bows that clip on. The inspiration came from these pumps, which I have been lusting after forever. My version, however, came to a fraction of the price of the originals, as the shoes cost $39.99 at TJMaxx, and an additional $14.99 from ShoeClipsOnly, an awesome Esty seller. If you’re crazy about bows like me, try this! The bows come in gold, bronze and silver, and they’re easily switched from one pair of shoes to another. :)

Later that afternoon, we took the subway into Williamsburg, Brooklyn to see some great friends: Darby, Jason, Shawn and Mandi. We went to Full Circle, a skee-ball bar! It was so different and fun. Mitch and I made it to the finals, but we crumbled under the pressure and lost. ;) Oops. So looking forward to more weekends like this in the upcoming months. I feel like we’ve been shut up in our apartment for way too long because of this nasty weather! Thank goodness warmer days are on the horizon! (Projected temperature for Tuesday: 79 degrees. What?! ;))
