Mitch and I took these photos a few weeks ago, but at the time, I was opting for posting Florida photos on the blog over wintery ones. ;) (Could you blame me?!) But the current 10-day forecast indicates that warmer days are on the horizon, so I’m pumped! So, with any luck, these will be the last snowy photos you see on this little blog.
Last weekend was fun, but it was a bit crazy. On Friday, Mitch and I went out in Times Square and then visited the Pilsner Haus (couldn’t recommend it enough) and the Turtle Club. On Saturday, I attended an adorable baby shower for Beth, one of my very best girlfriends from Fairfield. That night, I ran into the city to hang out with Mitch and Shawn on the Lower East Side. (New favorite establishment: Todd’s Mill. SO cute! Also visited the Backroom, a 1920s speakeasy where drinks are served in teacups. Sounds silly, but it’s adorable, and there are couches and pianos.) Because we stayed out so late, we ended up crashing on Shawn’s couch. (Who do I think I am?! A college student?!) On Sunday, I took a long stroll through the city with Mitch, and then met up with Brittney, the DC-based blogger behind Toasting & Hosting, at Cafe Angelique (my favorite coffee shop in the West Village). Follow her! I can’t get over her amazing ability to host the perfect party.
So, yeah. It was a great weekend, but it kind of killed me. This weekend, though, I’m doing nothing. Except for meeting my mother in SoHo on Sunday for our monthly mother/daughter shopping day. Eeee! I’m so excited. And Mom… 40 percent off at C.Wonder! Holler. Happy weekend, Fashionistas!
Lovely outfit, your vest is absolutely stunning. And I have the same hat, it’s perfect!
Have a lovely weekend.

So awesome! Hope you had a great weekend, Julie! :) xx
I still firmly believe there is no better shopping buddy than shopping with my mom, she always has such a good sense of style. Have a great relaxing weekend Kelly, hopefully we will hit 50’s next week (yay spring)!

As much as I love my Franco Sarto boots, I definitely want to put them away for the winter too.
Hahaha. Agreed. I’m throwing mine out. They’re dead.
Sounds like you had such a fun weekend! Drinks from teacups? Why not? Hope this one treats you just as well!
