Well, it continues to be miserable in New York City, so I’ve taken to wearing my coziest gear! I’m wearing a lot of pieces from companies that specialize in this: Madewell, Anthropologie and–after recently attending a shopping event thrown by Sam from La Petite Pear at Ann Taylor Loft’s Fifth Avenue store–Lou & Grey. (Seriously: amazing stuff. I’d kind of written the brand off, but I’m in love with its new lounge line!)

Whenever I go super casual, I try to include a statement piece or two to tie things together and make me feel a bit more glam. ;) This week (since I probably won’t be switching things up very much in this weather), I’m going with these gorgeous, bold and gold earrings from the Lemon Stripes Store.
