I’ve been trying to carry my camera with me more often. (I shoot with this mirrorless camera and this super lightweight lens, btw!)
I know some people think it detracts from the moment, but for me, it’s my phone that does that. The camera instead helps me appreciate the moments and realize I’m in them, if that makes sense. Sometimes it even makes them.
I carried my camera around on a wonderfully slow day in Rosemary. Dad essentially turned the kitchen into a diner and made the kids animal-shaped pancakes while the adults drank coffee and chatted. Eventually we walked into town for lunch, and then took the long way home to enjoy the scenery and warmth. Later, we took a dip in the pool—and our eyes closed the moment our heads hit the pillows.
It was a good day. ♥️
