(Goodness gracious. Apologies for the state of my hair, haha. It’s been a while since I last visited the salon for highlights. Anyone else put it off until you can no longer stand it? I do it every time. ;))

Anyway, I’m back! Mitch and I finished our 14-hour drive last night. I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m not the best driver, but sheesh. (Seriously, never get into a car with me, even if I say I’ve improved. I haven’t.) This time, I forgot to check the gas gauge on the Prius while I was driving and Mitch was napping. (Since we only have to fill the car up about once a month in New York City, gas is rarely on my mind.) Can’t believe we made to a rest stop in time. We had 11 miles left. #whoops

Our trip to the Midwest was wonderful. (Highlights to follow!) I definitely could have used another week there, but it’s also super nice to be home and back in a routine. I’m such a nut. When I’m in a routine, I desperately want to be out of it. When I’m out of it, though, I kind of miss it. I guess that’s just life. ;)
