It nearly killed me, but this past week I knocked out a lot of time-consuming projects that I owed… and a weight has been lifted. Acclimating to two-hour workdays has definitely been overwhelming at times, and I’m often discouraged when I see friends picking up these awesome hobbies and doing fantastic activities with their kids while maintaining homes and/or juggling work. HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT? We’ve been quarantining for a long time at this point, and I’m still working on projects that should have been completed in early March. It’s almost May. 😂
Slow progress, though. And I’m proud that I’ve been choosing to tackle the more daunting assignments first–because now, when I look at my workload, it consists of easier stuff! (Big sigh of relief.) And that means that I’ll be able to dedicate more time to publishing more interesting blog posts. :) I know I probably sound like every other mom blogger, but I have so many ideas that I’d love to bring to fruition! Almost there. 😉 Until I get there, though, I’m grateful to be able to pop on here every day and share a little something, whether it’s fashion or home-related. (Mostly fashion these days, because it’s the quickest and easiest, haha.) It’s lovely! A nice little escape, if you will.
Anyway, a few days ago I shared that we’re going to be making over our outdoor space with Pottery Barn, and I can’t stop thinking about it! This past week has been pretty cold and dreary here in Chicago, so I love daydreaming about spending a ton of time with Mitch and the girls out there in the coming weeks and months. Mark & Graham, another Williams-Sonoma brand (and a longtime partner!), really specializes in personalized outdoor accessories, so you’d better believe that Mitch and I have been browsing! Here are some cute things that I think would work well. #1 on my list? The cornhole set. (We’re ALL ABOUT games right now!)
