By the time that you’ll be reading this, the Larkin Family will likely be en route to Marco Island, Florida! (Here’s why.) And since Chicago is currently under a ton of snow and experiencing negative temps, we’re super excited to be getting out of here. Of course, the warm weather maternity clothing I ordered for our trip was STOLEN off our front step, but I threw together some creative outfits with what I had in my closet and I’m hoping for the best. ;) It’s not supposed to be too toasty while we’re there, so I think I’ll be good! (Also, hahaha to the person who stole the package. I bet you’re going to look GREAT in my maternity bathing suits and dresses. 😂)

Anyway, I have some fun posts going live this week while I’m gone, and today’s is another giveaway. (Too much? Oh well. 😉) I have three brand new and absolutely gorgeous un-monogrammed/blank Mark and Graham Terminal 1 Suitcases, and my fingers are crossed for you! (The Terminal 1 collection really is perfect luggage.) To enter to win the Checked SpinnerCarry-On, or (Mini) “Commuter”/Children’s Suitcase in white, simply:

  • Leave a comment in the comment section below. (As always, you can say anything, as long as it’s PG and relatively friendly.)
  • Include your e-mail in the following non-spammy format so the robots can’t find you: kelly [at] gmail [dot] com.
  • Consider entering via Instagram, too. (This is not required; it’s just an extra chance or two! The giveaway will be posted to the ‘Gram this morning.)

That’s it! Three randomly selected winners will be announced and contacted once we get back from Florida. The winners will be given their choice–first come, first serve 😜–and then Mitch will mail out the suitcases!

*Note: The suitcases are not monogrammed. If you win and are interested in monogramming yours, I’ll point you in the right direction! Mark and Graham actually uses decals, so these can easily be ordered via Etsy. :)

Terminal 1 Luggage Review

Okay! Let’s get you even more excited about the giveaway by talking about the Terminal 1 Luggage, because it’s truly perfect. ;)

3 Mark & Graham Suitcase Giveaways

Mark & Graham Terminal One Suitcases / Awesome Seamed Leggings / Sperry Seaport Loafers / L.L. Bean Pullover / L.L.Bean Flannel Shirt

Mark & Graham Terminal One Suitcases

Mark & Graham sent me the full line of luggage in early September so I could really give the suitcases a spin–haha, suitcase joke–and be able to give my honest review. I really appreciated that, and think it speaks volumes about the kind of customer service you can expect with the company.

Also, I’d been pining for the suitcases for the longest time. I’d seen them everywhere, and couldn’t believe the price on such timeless and vintage-looking luggage. (I’d seen similar styles elsewhere for ungodly numbers.) And that crisp white against the camel leather?! Absolutely gorgeous. So yeah: let’s just say I was over the moon when they arrived on my front step, and couldn’t wait to write this post!

Features

  • The first thing I should note is that the suitcases are extremely lightweight, as they’re made from durable polycarbonate. I’m a physically weak wimp–just being honest 😜–and these are very easy for me to handle. (Unless I’ve packed an inordinate number of shoes, in which case it’s my fault.)
  • They spin 360 degrees with easy-to-maneuver handles, and they spin smoothly. Even Emma, who’s since claimed the mini “Commuter” suitcase, rolls her bag through airports with ease. (Really regretting not getting her monogram on the mini, haha. How did I not even consider that it would be perfect for a child?! #pregnancybrain)
  • The optional monogram–available in several styles–and the beautiful leather detailing add such a personal touch. Don’t you think it looks like thousand-dollar luggage?! (Okay, not actually sure what thousand-dollar luggage looks like, besides the obvious LV stuff I see around airports. But I sincerely like Mark & Graham’s line more than that! So classy.)
  • Inside, you’ll find a cute and preppy striped liner, along with several zipped closures and mesh pockets. I love suitcases that zip closed on both sides because I find that they help me stay organized. And the mesh pockets are great for intimates, socks, belts, scarves and hats.

The different sizes

Checked Spinner: 28″ h x 18″ w x 11″ d

Carry-On: 21″ h x 14″ w x 10″ d

“Commuter”/Children’s Suitcase: 18″ h x 12″ w x 9″ d (This bag isn’t marketed as a children’s suitcase, but I personally think it should be! Emma is nuts about it, and it works perfectly for her. You can see her with it at the airport here and here!)

How they hold up–specifically the white

I actually had some reservations about ordering the white. I almost ordered the navy because I was so nervous about how the white would hold up when I checked it! But my good friend Carly, who’s owned hers for a long time, assured me that any marks are easily removed with soap and water or magic eraser–and she was totally right.

Yes, the bags will get marks on them when you check them. But I truly haven’t found a single mark that I haven’t been able to rub off with my fingers, paper towel or magic eraser. And I’m personally SO glad I went with the white, because in my opinion, it’s the prettiest! :)

That said, I completely understand if you think the marks might bother you, and you’d rather not deal. In which case, the suitcases come in a ton of additional colors: navy (my second favorite), cranberry, champagne, blush, olive and black. Something for everyone, for sure! (Though today’s giveaway is only for the white.) I have a friend who owns the navy, and says she’s noticed zero marks on her bag. So there’s that!

The guarantee

The best part? Each suitcase comes with a lifetime limited warranty. If your bag breaks, the company will fix or replace it… so this is a worry-free purchase. :)
