This scalloped lamp is a Kelly in the City bestseller! Its sister lamp (so similar!) is such a cutie, too.

I had so much fun writing this post.

Wayfair is chock full of preppy (yet affordable) home finds, and I’ve discovered a lot of real gems over the years. The retailer offers fast and free shipping, which is kind of unheard of for a furniture company today. And you simply can’t beat the customer service. To quote Vanilla Ice—Why? Not sure—if there’s a problem, they’ll solve it.

Here’s a roundup of my all-time favorites:

Ticking stripe couch (“Cruise Adrift”)

The “Cruise Adrift” collection from Wayfair Custom Upholstery (specifically in “Cruise Adrift”) is to die for. So many of their sofas, chairs, ottomans and sectionals come in the classic ticking stripe print, and they’re sure to stand the test of time.

The faux hydrangeas are also from Wayfair! (I think mine are an older version but they look nearly identical!)

Indoor/Outdoor Erin Gates Rug

And let’s talk about the Erin Gates rugs that Wayfair carries. Do you know that the retailer now has OUTDOOR versions of them?! If you saw my balcony makeover, you may have seen me feature this rug. I loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered this one to go under the table and chairs. It’s the same rug that Emma has in her bedroom, just the outdoor version. Oh, and I’m highly considering using this runner whenever we get around to shiplapping our stairs. How perfect would the indoor/outdoor functionality be for such a high-traffic location?!

Grasscloth wallpaper

Annie Selke grasscloth wallpaper never fails. But did you know that Wayfair has its own grasscloth wallpaper? It looks so similar to mine, and I definitely would have considered it a few years ago when we papered our living and dining rooms!

Faux hydrangeas

Back to the faux hydrangeas. They’re always a good idea, and Wayfair carries a ton of options in a variety of sizes, colors and price points. Our coffee table is from Wayfair as well!

Woven bench

This woven bench is such an easy way to add texture and functionality to a room. I use it every day while getting dressed, and the girls often lay on it and read at night.

I should also mention that our black nightstands are from Wayfair, and they come in large and small. I love how they bring a bit of an urban/modern vibe to the room, as I tend to lean Coastal Grandmother. ;) Which makes no sense considering I’m over here landlocked in Chicago. But you know, haha.

Jenny Lind furniture

Wayfair’s Jenny Lind collection is amazing. I bought this beautiful blush-colored bed for our bedroom in Rosemary Beach, but the Louise Bed has my heart, too. I can’t wait to get wallpaper up in here one day; I love this palm tree grasscloth.

Scalloped rugs

This scalloped runner was the perfect addition to the girls’ secret hideout in our home. It adds a lot of coziness to the space, which they often use as a reading nook. :)

Raw wood dresser

Emma’s unfinished dressers are everything. I tried to convince myself that they weren’t perfect for her room, haha, but I kept coming back to them. And let me tell you: I was right. 😉 Over the years, I’ve learned that room design is all about balance. (For me at least.) For example, yes, I love the color blue, but everything in the room cannot be blue—despite how tempting it is. I am far more drawn to rooms that have touches of my favorite colors, instead of the “clown house” look I used to go for.

Scalloped planter

The Mirabelle scalloped cachepot is undeniably my best Wayfair find of the year. It honestly looks like something that would be $200+! Confession: I own three of them.

Take note that if you’re using them outside, be sure to place them under a covering. And since it doesn’t have a drainage hole, keep plants in original pots and then place into the cachepot. This will help prevent over-saturation!

Scalloped lamp

Okay wait, the scalloped lamp might be my best find. It’s the cutest lamp I’ve ever seen. And it comes in so many colors! We have the white one, but my eye is on the green and light blue ones, too. They would look adorable in our room at my parents’ home in Rosemary Beach. Also, if you’re looking for an alternative, its sister lamp (so similar!) is such a cutie, too.

Scratch-proof leather chesterfield sofa (“Steamboat”)

There’s nothing more timeless (or functional) than a leather sofa—especially a Chesterfield. We discovered Birch Lane’s line of scratch-proof leather couches when we moved to Chicago, which we’ve nicknamed the “Magic Couches.” (Heck, we wrote an entire blog post on how much we adore them!) Since then, we’ve had dozens of friends and family members purchase them, and everyone swears by them. Consider this: We’ve had a miniature dachshund and two small children on our couches for the last 10 years, and not a single stain or scratch. Not sure how this is possible… which is why we call them “Magic Couches.” ;)

Note that our Chesterfield is five years old; it has since been updated and I love it even more!

Rattan scalloped mirror

I don’t own this perfect rattan scalloped mirror—yet. But I can say with certainty that it’ll be gracing our home somewhere soon. (Where? Who knows, ha!) And have you seen this one?! Just as cute.

Of course, I went on the Wayfair mirror deep dive. Above you can find my picks!

Oversized outdoor holiday bow

Okay, guys. Listen: I know it’s July. Christmas is very far off. But this giant red bow sells out every year, and you’ll thank me later. Summer Thornton, an awesome Chicago-based designer, featured it on one of her homes, and I just couldn’t help myself! I adore the festive cheer it brings to our home December through February, as it totes works for Valentine’s Day too. (Or so I tell myself.)

Happy shopping!
