Recently, Pier 1 Imports opened a brand new and absolutely gorgeous flagship store off North Avenue in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Mitch and I have spent a lot of time there, as it’s close to our new home and it has an incredible amount of merchandise in stock. Seriously: the place is huge, and it’s beyond pretty. So much natural light, and it’s very well laid out.
While you might not think of Pier 1 when looking for traditional, nautical and preppy home furnishings and decor, we filmed this (kind of hilarious) video to highlight some of the company’s most classic pieces. We think the best part of Pier 1 is that is caters to so many different styles. There’s really something for everyone!
Of course, we’re not the most eloquent in front of the camera, and you have no idea how many takes it took to get some semi-acceptable footage, haha. (Let’s just say we don’t have a future in theater.) But we had so much fun doing it, and I hope you enjoy it… or at least get a few laughs out of it. ;)
