Amazon Gifts for Little Boys 2024

Waytoplay 16-Piece Expressway / Suction Cup Basketball Hoop / LCD Writing Tablet / Melissa & Doug Vroom & Zoom Interactive Wooden Dashboard / VTech PAW Patrol Learning Pup Watch / Micro Kickboard Mini Deluxe Micro Scooter / Dino Egg Bath Bombs / Jellycat Sausage Dog / Transformers Bumblebee Action Figure / Wooden Tool Workbench

I’ll be the first to admit it: I don’t know much about little boys. Possibly not a single thing. I’m WELL AWARE of the irony that I’m writing this post, but really you have the boy moms in my life to thank for it! They came through with the best recommendations, and I’ll probably be referencing this for the rest of my life haha.

Waytoplay 16-Piece Expressway: What is it about boys and cars?! I’m all for versatility, and the pieces can be put together in 8 million different ways and used both inside and out.

Suction Cup Basketball Hoop: So I think this is technically designed for the bathtub, but there’s no reason why it can’t be used on other smooth surfaces. The reviews say the suction is super powerful. Plus, it’s WAY more compact than standalone hoops.

LCD Writing Tablet: I got the girls writing tablets like this one a while back and they’re *still* a hit. It’s like screen time, but not. And how adorable is the alligator (or is it a crocodile?) design?!

Melissa & Doug Vroom & Zoom Interactive Wooden Dashboard: Melissa & Doug is the best. I think of toys like this like Mario Kart, minus the screen.

VTech PAW Patrol Learning Pup Watch: I’m obviously very pro-learning, and if it takes a digital Paw Patrol watch to get the job done, then so be it! There are four different learning games, plus a stopwatch and timer, which is a pretty good value for the price if you ask me.

Micro Kickboard Mini Deluxe Micro Scooter: Carly’s son Jack has one of these and is obsessed, which is honestly the only endorsement I need. It’s a lean-to-steer, which is supposed to provide stability to little kids still learning how to balance.

Dino Egg Bath Bombs: Okay, these are SO cool. As these cute dino egg bath bombs dissolve in the water, they start to reveal actual dino toys. The former teacher in me loves the included educational cards about each species.

Jellycat Sausage Dog: My girls have built quite the collection of Jellycats over the years. Turns out, boys love them too! Once I saw the dachshund, there was no question which one I was going to feature. I just HAD TO, you know?

Transformers Bumblebee Action Figure: Did you guys know that Transformers were still a thing? Apparently I missed the memo… which makes sense haha. Anyway, it’s a classic! And either way, the whole robot-and-vehicle-in-one thing is pretty cool.

Wooden Tool Workbench: This workbench is a) not ugly, b) super affordable, and c) well-reviewed. If you have the space, go for it!

The Coziest abercrombie kids’ Clothing

Right now, you can take 30-50% off almost everything at Abercrombie & Fitch and abercrombie kids, and an extra 20% off almost everything with code “HOLIDAYRUSH,” which is stackable!

If you’re a millennial like I am, you probably remember the moment that Abercrombie & Fitch caught your eye again—like, as an adult. It was a surreal moment for me; it conjured up memories of seventh-grade Kelly saving her hard-earned babysitting money to buy one of those shirts with Abercrombie & Fitch written down the arms in Garamond font. (I was so excited. Anyone else?!) But whoever’s in charge over there right now is a total genius. Because the company has risen through the ranks once again, and made its way into the hearts of not just their original customers, but also the children of their original customers. Because the stuff is great—for men, women and kids. Quality is high, prices are affordable, and styles are classic but also on-trend.

Gifts for the Person Who Has Everything

StoryWorth Keepsake Memoir / Furbish Studio Needlepoint Pillow / Silver Frame / Shower Steamers / Minted Custom Silhouette / Book of the Month Subscription / Window Bird Feeder / Towel Warmer / Aura Digital Frame

There’s always going to be people in life who are comically hard to shop for, whether that’s because they say they don’t need anything or they just buy whatever they want as they want it. Both are great! But entirely unhelpful during the holidays. With those people, I try to go for something sentimental, unexpected, and/or experiential. Like, for example, these!

StoryWorth Keepsake Memoir: You guys. How cool is this?! Once a week, you send the recipient a question to answer (either via text or audio!), and at the end of the year, it’s turned into a keepsake book. I LOVE this for your parents, grandparents, in-laws—people who have lived a lot of life and probably have great stories to tell. Another thing that makes it so incredible: You can schedule when the gift email is sent, or, if you’re a procrastinator, purchase it last-minute.

Furbish Studio Needlepoint Pillow: Do I need this? I might need this haha. A cheeky pillow isn’t something people really purchase for themselves, but I guarantee they’ll smile every time they pass by it. Furbish has a million more options, by the way!

Silver Frame: Sometimes, it’s just best to keep it simple: a timeless silver frame with an updated family portrait, a candid you took of them earlier in the year, whatever. Thoughtful, yet inexpensive!

Shower Steamers: If a spa gift card isn’t in the budget, make them feel like they’re at a spa anyway. I know a lot of people who swear by shower steamers as one of the most cheapest ways to feel super fancy.

Minted Custom Silhouette: This is the *most* adorable gift idea for new parents, grandparents, dog moms… whoever you know with a child or a pet they love. The tricky part is getting the side profile, but if you have that, there’s no reason not to go for it! Bonus points if you have it framed too.

Book of the Month Subscription: You guys know I’m IN LOVE with my Kindle, but I fully accept that some readers prefer hard copies. Enter: Book of the Month. You can get them a 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscription, delivered by email, physical gift card, or printable card. Easy peasy!

Window Bird Feeder: Nobody in the world needs this, but it’s absolutely delightful—which is exactly what makes it a great gift. The acrylic bird feeder suctions on to your window so you can clearly (pun intended, obviously) see all the birds that come visit.

Towel Warmer: This = the height of luxury. Imagine stepping out of your shower and wrapping yourself in a towel so warm it feels fresh from the dryer! I don’t know why I don’t own this yet.

Aura Digital Frame: Remembering to print out new photos for picture frames is a pain sometimes. A digital frame, which cycles through your chosen images, is SO much easier. All you need is an app!

Cyber Monday Splurge Worthy Gifts

Brightland The Artist Capsule Olive Oils / Caraway Knife & Utensil Set / Haverhill Petite 2 Birthstone Necklace / Quince Diamond Single Shared Prong Halfway Band / Jenni Kayne Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan / Serena & Lily Hanging Rattan Chair / Kindle Paperwhite / Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon / Smathers and Branson American Flag Needlepoint Belt / Embark Dog DNA Test

Happy Cyber Monday!

Is anyone else tired? I’m tired haha. But the sales are still up and running, and there are some amazing discounts you should take advantage of if something catches your eye. 20% off may not mean much for a $20 item, but for the more pricey ones, it can be a game changer. Which brings us to… splurge worthy gifts! I rounded up products that are truly high quality, and either REALLY practical or REALLY pretty (or both!). And—just saying—the prices are insane. Way to go, Cyber Monday!

Brightland The Artist Capsule Olive Oils: Who buys fancy olive oil for themselves? Almost no one, even though it tastes WAY better and really makes a difference in your cooking. Your favorite home chef will love working with the four different flavors—and the cool packaging!

Caraway Knife & Utensil Set: One of the lessons I’ve learned through my decluttering journey is that you need SO.MUCH.LESS. than you think you do. This high-quality set of essential kitchen tools is almost $200 off and comes in cute colors.

Haverhill Petite 2 Birthstone Necklace: I love that you can personalize this necklace with different birthstones—I would (obviously) do emerald for Lucy’s birthday and peridot for Emma’s! It’s dainty, so you can wear it every day if you want, even if the stones don’t necessarily match your outfit. Plus, it’s almost $100 off!

Quince Diamond Single Shared Prong Halfway Band: Yes, Quince sells DIAMONDS. The brand rarely goes on sale, and just for today, this gorgeous band is only $250 (usually $350; $795 traditional retail). They’re practically giving it away!

Jenni Kayne Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan: 25% off Jenni Kayne is AMAZING. Their sweaters are pricey, but boy are they worth it—the quality is truly unbeatable and you’ll have them forever. I’m surprised by how many sizes are still in stock!

Serena & Lily Hanging Rattan Chair: Am I the only one who would be thrilled to receive furniture for the holidays?! Serena & Lily’s famous hanging chair is an incredible $150 off today. It’d be great in a kid’s room as a reading nook or on the porch for everyone to lounge on.

Kindle Paperwhite: I will never stop talking about Kindles because I’m convinced they’re one of this century’s best inventions. This brand new version has a larger display and up to three months of battery life, plus it’s super high contrast and the fastest it’s even been. If someone’s had their Kindle for a while, it may be time for an upgrade!

Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon: This thing is SO cool. It tracks stuff like your activity, sleep, stress, and heart rate so you don’t have to. My favorite part is the Readiness Score: using all of the biometrics it calculates a number (the highest is 100) to calculate how “ready you” are for the rest of your day. The fact that it looks just like a regular ring? Even better. Oh, and it’s HSA/FSA eligible. Love that.

Smathers and Branson American Flag Needlepoint Belt: The ultimate accessory for any preppy man in your life, am I right? The needlepoint American flag look is iconic and the quality is incredible.

Embark Dog DNA Test: For the dog moms/dads! All the results you have access to look really interesting, and obviously could be a game changer for their dog’s health. 40% off is a great deal, and depending on what they find out, the test could even end up being priceless.

Black Friday Gifts for New Moms 2024

LAKE Pajamas Pima Robe / RelaxSport Neck and Shoulder Massager / Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug / Nutrafol Postpartum Hair Growth Supplements / HART Radiant Mama Necklace / ChappyWrap Bayside Herringbone Shawl / Uncommon James Personalized Touch Monogram Necklace / Favorite Daughter Mom of the Year Baseball Hat / Hill House Home Ellie Nap Dress

New moms deserve the WORLD. I’d give all of them a night nurse and a 10-day vacation if I could haha. But since I can’t, I try to give them something practical, luxurious, and/or sentimental that’s just for them—not the baby. Right now I’m eyeing the viral RelaxSport Neck and Shoulder Massager and Favorite Daughter Mom of the Year Baseball Hat—am I allowed to get it for myself?!

LAKE Pajamas Pima Robe: I can’t believe this is only $68. LAKE’s Pima cotton is so luxurious and worth every penny at full price—even more so at 50% off! I guarantee they’ll be wearing this all day and during every night feed.

RelaxSport Neck and Shoulder Massager: This contraption looks funny, but word on the street is that it gives the BEST massages. No need to go to a spa or bribe your husband, haha. Just on-demand self-care!

Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug: I know I just posted about this, but you guys REALLY need to know about it. This mug helps keep your drink at a specified temperature for up to 90 minutes, so when mom duty calls, they can come back to their still-hot coffee.

Nutrafol Postpartum Hair Growth Supplements: Postpartum hair loss is no joke, and when it comes to encouraging growth (*and* less shedding!), Nutrafol is the real deal. You have to take four pills daily, but the results are worth it.

HART Radiant Mama Necklace: How. CUTE. This brand never goes on sale, and the plating is extra thick, so it’ll last a while.

ChappyWrap Bayside Herringbone Shawl: ChappyWrap makes our family’s favorite blankets, and now they make the coziest shawls! During those late-night feeds, you can wrap this around yourself without covering up the baby.

Uncommon James Personalized Touch Monogram Necklace: A more budget-friendly take on sentimental jewelry (by Kristin Cavallari’s brand!), this is something simple they can wear daily.

Favorite Daughter Mom of the Year Baseball Hat: What can I say? This is perfect for hiding their greasy, haven’t-showered-in-three-days hair LOL.

Hill House Home Ellie Nap Dress: The Nap Dress is the ultimate postpartum outfit. It’s insanely comfortable and cute, with flexible sizing and smocking for breastfeeding. Right now it’s less than $100!

Black Friday Stocking Stuffers 2024

Polo Ralph Lauren Baseball Hat / Cadence Travel Containers / Anthropologie Bistro Tile Frame / TheraICE Migraine Relief Cap / Anthropologie Chunky Cat-Eye Readers / Weezie Makeup Towels / She’s Birdie Birdie+ Smart Personal Safety Alarm / Mark & Graham Stacking Jewelry Organizer / Solawave Radiant Renewal 4-in-1 Facial Wand

Hi guys! Happy Thanksgiving!

I swear I had plenty of screen-free time today, but I’ve also been having tons of fun with these gift guides and couldn’t resist posting. When it comes to gifting, I think stocking stuffers are actually a fun challenge—what can you give people that they’ll actually use *and* will fit inside their stocking?! I’d be thrilled to give or receive any of these options (I mean, I don’t need readers yet, but besides that ;)

Polo Ralph Lauren Baseball Hat: I love baseball hats. I wear them all the time, especially in the summer and during school dropoff. The Ralph Lauren one is a classic you can throw on and go while still looking extra chic!

Cadence Travel Containers: These are TSA-compliant and 100% leakproof travel capsules for your toiletries with interchangeable labels. A magnetic design connects the containers vertically or horizontally—brilliant, right?! And perfect for the jet setter in your life.

Anthropologie Bistro Tile Frame: Anthropologie’s famous bistro tile pattern, now in frame form! You could easily tuck the 4×4 into a stocking. (Bonus points if you pre-add a picture!)

TheraICE Migraine Relief Cap: All of my migraine-prone friends SWEAR by this. The cap goes in the freezer and then a couple of hours, you put it on and the cold compression heals your headache.

Anthropologie Chunky Cat-Eye Readers: I guess I really am 40 if I’m posting about readers haha. But come on, these are adorable! Way better than the drugstore options.

Weezie Makeup Towels: Weezie towels are so, SO soft and these are (obviously) great for removing makeup at the end of the day. I love that they’re dark so any stains are completely hidden.

She’s Birdie Birdie+ Smart Personal Safety Alarm: This would be perfect for a college student or a recent grad in a new city! To start the (super loud) siren, all you have to do is pull the top. Plus, it pairs with your phone to send emergency alerts to chosen contacts and access a 24/7 support line.

Mark & Graham Stacking Jewelry Organizer: I love that you can keep the three compartments together or separate them. Because it was on clearance before the Black Friday sale, the $59 organizer is less than $19 now! The monogram is the perfect finishing touch.

Solawave Radiant Renewal 4-in-1 Facial Wand: Facial wand or magic wand? This tool gets rid of dark circles, acne, fine lines, and puffiness—basically everything I’m dealing with right now haha. At 40% off, now’s the time to give it a try.

Black Friday Gifts for Her 2024

Hello from Yardley, Pennsylvania! While traveling here our Larkin Luck finally took a turn for the better when Mitch forgot Noodle’s carrier and we managed to smuggle her onto the plane in a tote. 🤣 Not sure what we would have done otherwise! Call it a holiday miracle.

I don’t know about you, but at the age of 40, I feel like I already have everything I need. My closet is curated, our kitchen is stocked, and the girls are sufficiently spoiled! Because of this, I wanted to approach Black Friday differently this year, with gift guides instead of retailer roundups. Some of the best deals include Dudley Stephens for 59% off, the cutest crossbody for 50% off, and ChappyWrap for 37% off!

ChappyWrap Blanket / LAKE Pima Long-Long Set / Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose Vanity Mirror / Cricut Explore 3 & Digital Content Library Bundle / Rifle Paper Co. Embroidered Heirloom Photo Album / Dudley Stephens Palace Puff Sleeve / Capri Blue Volcano Gold Ribbed Jar Candle / Paravel Crossbody Capsule / Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug / Mark & Graham x Jennifer Lake Scalloped Expandable Carry-On Luggage / BEIS Commuter Tote

ChappyWrap Blanket: ChappyWraps are the BEST blankets. Ever. They’re made out of the softest fleece, plus machine-washable and dryer-safe. This beautiful pattern was already discounted before the 20% off sale, making it $100 for a truly heirloom blanket.

LAKE Pima Long-Long Set: Speaking of soft, have you tried these pajamas yet?! If not, you need to. They’re made out of Peruvian pima cotton, making them extra cozy and comfy. AND they wash like a dream.

Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose Vanity Mirror: This is the mini version of Anthropologie’s famous Primrose mirror (which is also 30% off right now)! It’d be so cute in a primary bath or on a dresser.

Cricut Explore 3 & Digital Content Library Bundle: I’m convinced that I would be a different person if I never got a Cricut. It opens up so many crafting possibilities, like our DIY Taylor Swift Eras doll, preppy scooter makeover, and kids goody bags.

Rifle Paper Co. Embroidered Heirloom Photo Album: I love the contrast of the deep green and the beautiful embroidery. It’s so pretty. How adorable would it be if you gifted this album with the photos already in it?

Dudley Stephens Palace Puff Sleeve: My eco-friendly Dudley Stephens fleeces are wardrobe staples in the fall and winter because they’re just so cozy and comfy. This one has a shorter stand-up collar and slightly longer length than their popular Park Slope, plus puff sleeves! It was already on super sale, and the extra 50% off makes it even cheaper.

Capri Blue Volcano Gold Ribbed Jar Candle: Capri Blue’s Volcano scent is iconic, and the gold jar makes it feel a little more festive. At 30% off, this universally-beloved candle is great to have on hand as a last-minute gift.

Paravel Crossbody Capsule: This used to be one of the “it” bags, and I still think it’s gorgeous. I love the combination of canvas and leather, and the monogram just takes it to the next level.

Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug: Guys. This thing is genius. The mug helps keep hot beverages at the temperature of your choice for up to 90 minutes. It’s perfect for literally any parent and their morning coffee!

Mark & Graham x Jennifer Lake Scalloped Expandable Carry-On Luggage: Have you ever seen cuter luggage in your life?! This would be such a fun upgrade for the traveler in your life, monogrammed or not.

BEIS Commuter Tote: Don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure BEIS doesn’t go on sale often?! I can think of a lot of 20-somethings (and 30-somethings!) who would love to have this as their work bag.

Dressing up the Powder Room for the Holidays

Faux Wreath / Matted Frames / Ceramic Tree / Scalloped Towels / Wallpaper / Mirror / Sconces / Vanity / Faucet / Tissue Box Holder / Chenille Throw

I had a delightful little week over here in Chicago. I ventured up to the Wayfair store in Wilmette again, but this time to peruse the holiday selection. It was so fun! I’ll be honest and say that Christmas has been the furthest thing from my mind these days, but the store really did get me into the spirit. I came home with a bunch of seasonal goodies—mostly decor for our powder room glow-up project—and had a blast setting them up and making our home feel cozy.

Btw: Right now, Wayfair is having its Black Friday Sneak Peek event, when you can take up to 70 percent off the store and website—and get fast shipping. Same deals that you’ll see on actual Black Friday without waking up early or products selling out. ;)

Powder Room Glow-Up, Phase II

Vanity / Sconces / Faucet / Tissue Holder / Mirror / New Wallpaper / Original Wallpaper / Paint Color: “Shaded White” by Farrow & Ball

If you’ve been following along for some time, you know I love a good wallpaper transformation. I know, I know. It can be a lot of work. But not if you go with quality paper! And gosh, the payout is worth it.
