Yesterday, Mitch and I recreated Christmas morning with Mitch’s immediate family out in Illinois. :) The best part of the day was watching my niece and nephew get incredibly excited about everything, from opening presents and playing games to eating Christmas treats and watching movies. (This one is my new fave!)

My youngest cousin back east is in high school now, so it’s been a while since we had tots running around during the holidays. Isn’t everything just so much more magical with children around?! A couple of my favorite quotes from five-year-old Parker yesterday: “Is this appropriate?” (Parker after opening the DVD of Grease) and “Looks like somebody didn’t get enough sleep.” (Parker, about her brother). Hehe. Love her.
Anyway, we’re onto another Christmas celebration this afternoon with my mother-in-law’s side of the family! Can’t wait to see everyone. Hope you’re all having a fabulous holiday week!
