As the weather starts to cool down, I’m beginning to reach for some of my lightweight jackets and coats more often. They’re the key to a transitional fall wardrobe, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite fall jackets and coats.
Navy Quilted Coat
I LOVE this new jacket. The style is similar to J.Crew’s classic barn jacket with the same removable corduroy collar, gold snap buttons, and patch pockets, except this one is quilted. The puffer material makes this a great lightweight jacket for fall as well as an amazing transitional coat for that period in between seasons when you’re not quite ready to pull out a true puffer jacket. It comes in four gorgeous colors: navy, green, brown, and black.
Cream Lady Coat
This is my go-to dress coat. It’s the toastiest dress coat for fall out there. I wear it to events/on date nights. (I have it in both black and white.) This coat definitely runs on the smaller side, particularly in the shoulders. I would recommend going up one size, especially if you want to wear sweaters underneath.
Belted Wool Coat
This looks JUST like a shorter version of my favorite wool trench coat, which I wear constantly. Highly recommend! I have owned mine for at over five years and I’m always reaching for it! It also comes in a light beige color which is equally gorgeous.
