One of my best friends, Rebecca, texted me this quote early this morning, and it inspired today’s outfit. After all, I completely missed the boat yesterday, as it was the first day of spring and I forgot to dress up for it in celebration. (Phooey.) I got a few strange looks at work today, but I’ve always considered those looks to be a good thing. If no one ever took any chances with their wardrobes–or if no one ever went bold–would we even have colored pants? I think not. ;)
As you’ve probably noticed, I carry this bag from C. Wonder pretty much every other day. I’m obsessed, partly because it was such a deal, partly because it’s so adorable, partly because it’s big enough to fit everything I need without being massive, and partly because it goes with everything. I picked it up on major clearance at the C. Wonder popup store on 5th Avenue, so it’s sadly no longer available. However, I did a little research just in case you’re looking for a similar find. :) While it’s a bit more expensive, Piperlime offers coupons all the time, and it has a bow on it. #obsessed
I’m really, really happy right now. At three o’clock tomorrow, Mitch and I will officially be on spring break! We’re headed out to Illinois to spend the time with his amazing family. His aunts are even throwing us a bridal shower, which we’re so touched by. I really can’t believe how lucky I am to be joining Mitch’s family. We have about fifteen hours of driving ahead of us, so we’re spending tonight getting ready!
