Aaaaand we’re back! The Larkin Family rolled into Ocean City last night around 7 p.m., and I can’t even tell you how amazing it felt. Emma was such the little trooper; I swear Mitch and I complained about the 13-hour drive (split up over two days) more than she did. So happy to be here, though!

My parents and grandmother were down when we arrived, and the rest of the family gets in tomorrow. And we’re planning on spending this morning walking the beach and drinking coffee. I’m very excited. :) It goes without saying that this is a lovely way to end our “travel season,” haha.

Anyway, if you missed my first post on how to style pearls and stripes, be sure to check it out! I’m absolutely loving today’s look, which to me, screams warm spring days. (It was in the 70s here yesterday. Crazy!)

This is what I envision myself wearing to spring brunches with friends. The outfit allows me to both wear the pretty skirt and stay warm with the help of the long-sleeved button-down shirt. 😉 And the double-strand pearl necklace?! It’s definitely my favorite of my Shane Co. collection! While it’s perfect for a brunch, it can easily be worn atop a silk camisole or a sleek dress for a night on the town.

Something else I love about it is that my mom has a necklace that looks just like it. I remember her wearing it throughout my childhood; to dinners with my dad, to family parties, to back-t0-school nights, and during the occasional regular day. And I remember asking to wear it myself. When I received the Shane Co. necklace, it really brought me back… and it also made me think about all the adventures there are to come for my own little family. (Can you tell that I’ve been watching a little too much “This is Us”?! Someone hand me a tissue. 😂)

I suppose, though, all of that is exactly why I love the double-strand necklace so much. It’s classic and timeless. It’s appropriate for women of all ages, and it dresses up more casual outfits and adds “oomph” to already dressy looks. And I’m hoping mine will be part of my own daughter’s happy memories. ;)

What do you have on tap for the weekend?! Be sure to follow along with Emma’s first real Easter celebration on Insta Stories, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
