This week, I’m continuing on the gift guide train with a few gift ideas for your parents or in-laws. I love my in-laws and feel very grateful for them. We’re actually doing Thanksgiving at their place this year and heading to visit them the day after Christmas for a week. Over the years, I’ve learned the key to gifts is finding a balance between fun and practical. So when I shop for their presents, I always keep an eye out for something with a personal touch. Whether that’s something to do with one of their hobbies or something I remember them mentioning. If you’re feeling stuck on what to get your parents or your in-laws this year, I hope these ideas give you a little inspiration and help you find that perfect gift.

Gift Guide for The Dachshund Lover

Gift Guide for The Dachshund Lover

Coffee Mug / Baseball Hat / Makeup Bag / Notebook / Door Mat / Tea Towel / Needlepoint Keychain / Pajama Pants / Pajama Shirt / Socks / Wine Bottle Holder / Enamel Mug

I’m no stranger to a dachshund doormat, pair of socks, or even a mug. Dachshund-themed decor and clothes just spark joy for me. You’ll see Seasonal Noodle themed decor, like a dachshund skeleton on our front steps for Halloween or Stoodle (stoop Noodle) on the other days of the year. It’s a norm over here, and I love it.

Three Easy Thanksgiving Looks

Three Easy Thanksgiving Looks

I am so excited to spend Thanksgiving with our family this year! When it comes to picking out what to wear, I always go for basic pieces in neutral colors and accessorize with festive earrings, scarves, or bags for a pop of color. Since I know every family’s Thanksgiving can look a little different, I put together three outfits so you can find some inspiration no matter what the dress code is at your family’s Thanksgiving dinner.

Gift Guide For Kids

Gift Guide For Kids

Solar System Science Kit / Crayola Ultimate Light Board Drawing Table / Fidget Toys Set / Crayola Light Up Tracing Pad / Crayola Model Magic Clay / Wooden Scoop and Serve Ice Cream Counter / Bracelet Making Kit / Textured Stretchy Strings Fidget Toy / Olaf Follow-Me Friend / Crayola Arctic Color Chemistry Kit / Pink Bike with Training Wheels / Walkie Talkies / Squishy Toy Set

I’m trying to get ahead on getting gifts for the girls. Since we’ll be traveling to New Orleans to spend Christmas with my family this year, everything needs to be shipped to my brother’s place. We learned the hard way a couple of years ago that the Larkins cannot fly with gifts. Huge disaster, haha! Kids’ toys can get expensive, and they start to add up pretty quickly, so I gathered our favorite affordable toys we either own and love or have heard great things about to give you a little inspiration for the kids in your family.

Tea Bag Assortment / Oatmeal Cookie Pancake Mix + Polar Bear Maple Syrup / Loaf Pan / Peppermint Bark / Hot Chocolate Set / Chocolate Croissants / Monogram Mug / Capri Blue Christmas Candle / Aesop Soap Set / Marble Cheese Board + Cheese Knife Set / Molino Olive Oil / L’occitane Hand Cream Set / Match Cloche / Candle Wick Trimmer and Snuffer Set / Blue and White Porcelain Coasters + Cocktail Shaker / Green and White Apron

There’s just something so special about this time of the year when your calendar slowly starts to get filled with holiday and dinner parties. I always look forward to catching up with friends and spending quality time with my loved ones. If you’ve hosted a holiday party, you know how much time and work goes into it, so I love bringing a little gift as a thank you to the host. I usually leave the floral arrangements and wine pairings to them and opt for one of these holiday hostess gifts instead.

November Basics

November Basics

Sweater Dress / Tall Brown Boots / Leather Loafers / Fair Isle Sweater / Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater / Cable Turtleneck Sweater / Puff-Sleeve Mock Neck Sweater / Brown Leather Tote / Demi-Boot Jeans / Shearling-Lined Bean Boots / Green Quilted Jacket / Plaid Topcoat

Over the last few years, I’ve noticed myself majorly shift my shopping habits. I stopped buying statement pieces and started adding more basics to my closet. Simplicity (and neutrals) for the win! Getting dressed in the morning has become easier, and I get more wear out of each piece. Right now, I’m gravitating towards solid neutrals for fall like white, camel, and olive green, with an occasional plaid print here and there. With the craziness of the holidays approaching, I’m all about simplicity this season—in all areas of life. These are some November basics I love.

I’m looking forward to the holidays this year more than ever. I’ve been reminded countless times over the last month just how important family is, and I can’t wait to spend some quality time with both of our families over Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year we’re spending Christmas in New Orleans with my family and booked a house two doors down from my brother Patrick! I mean, what a find. I’m also determined to make this holiday season calm, relaxing, and fun by getting some of my Christmas shopping out of the way early. So today, I thought I’d share some of my favorite gifts for women. I hope it gives you a little inspiration and helps you cross a few people off your list.
