Today, we got a special treat: a visit from Mitch’s brother, John, who lives outside of Milwaukee! John is staying at the Sofitel, a hotel off 5th Avenue, for a business trip. (He works for Khol’s Corporate.) Super jealous. But he left his luxury room to travel to Hoboken (for the first time!) so we could show him around town and get dinner and drinks at Hudson Tavern, one of our favorite local establishments. It was so great to catch up!

Mitch will see John again in May for his bachelor party out in Milwaukee, but I won’t see him again until the wedding in July… So I was extra thankful to get to see him. Guess what John is doing right now? He’s picking out table settings in a showroom that will eventually be sold at Khol’s. And he gets to look at Kate Spade table settings. Swoon. ;) He snapped a picture of this Kate Spade beauty a while back and sent it to me before stores started carrying it! (I have a real dachshund obsession.)
