Guys, I really can’t thank you enough for your advice–and words of encouragement–regarding last night’s packing quest! I have to admit: we didn’t get anywhere even close to packing the entire apartment. But we made a considerable dent. (We move Sunday, so we still have some time.)
Mitch and I used so many of your suggestions! He used labeled garbage bags for his clothing, and I rolled mine, making sure not to put too much into the boxes. My dresses are in garment bags in an effort to minimize wrinkling, too. I also labeled each box with its eventual destination: kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom or office. We blasted music, had some wine, and I have to say–it wasn’t that bad. I guess getting started is the hardest part. Thank you!
Oh, and sorry about not switching up my sandals over the last week. I can’t seem to locate my other shoes right now… so, yeah. ;)
Anyway, today is my last day of school, which is so, so surreal. This post is on auto, so who knows how I’m feeling right now. But I’ll touch base tomorrow to let you know how it goes! (#omg)
