Friday’s date night was awesome. Our weekends are normally packed, so we don’t often get to go out alone. But lately, we’ve been reserving time for ourselves, and it’s been so nice. Last night was pretty funny: we had this grand plan to take a long walk from the Financial District to the Lower East Side so we could use a Groupon for dinner, but we got caught in a huge storm and ended up at some random dive bar. We hung out there (for hours, haha) until the rain passed. We had a blast with the owners, though! We eventually made our way home, and grabbed dinner at our usual local spot. Not exactly what we’d planned, but we’ll try again next week. ;) Happy Saturday, all!
