Oops. On Wednesday, Lauren and I headed downtown to Blair’s for a mid-week brunch/work session, and I accidentally brought along a wide-angle lens instead of my 50mm. So please excuse the rather bizarre photos today. ;) There’s definitely a fisheye effect goin’ on here… but kind of different and interesting, no?!
Chicago is currently defrosting, and it’s the best feeling. It’s going to be short-lived, as the cold returns next week. But I love wearing heels and a silk shirt to The Radler in Logan Square with friends last night, and I’m spending all of today walking around the neighborhood in a these adorable striped sneakers from Startas… and a light coat. Woo!
We’re also staying in tonight, which I’m pretty excited about, as we’re painting the master bedroom. Floors are set to be installed next week–cross your fingers that the timing works out!–and I can hardly believe that soon, we’ll have closets and dressers, and we’ll be sleeping in the same bed again. (Yes, we’ve been sleeping on twin-sized beds in the guest room since September. Very 1950s, haha.)
