Last night, on the way home from the C.Wonder/Lucky Magazine event, I happened to pass the 24-hour Kate Spade Saturday storefront on the way home. Very interesting! When I quickly read the email announcing its arrival in SoHo, I was under the impression that it was actual store you could walk into. Not so. (I clearly have great critical reading skills.) In actuality, it’s a giant touch-screen storefront in a window that allows you to select products and order them. They then arrive on your doorstep within an hour.

I’m very intrigued by this whole thing. It seems like shopping online would be just as easy, unless you need something immediately. And how many people need designer products immediately? I’m probably missing something, though. I’m almost always opposed to using new technology when it comes out. And then I end up loving it. So we’ll see! Thoughts on the idea?
