Last night (after a meet-up with the parents for a wedding project), I had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by C.Wonder and Lucky Magazine at C.Wonder’s flagship location in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. I love Lucky Magazine–I’m actually in this month’s issue! Woo!–and I think it’s pretty apparent that I have a C.Wonder obsession. (Jessie, you understand!) And let’s be serious. I’m not missing a single event that promises cupcakes and wine. ;) Especially when the cupcakes are adorned with C.Wonder logos! Too cute.

Before I go on, though, here’s what I wore to the event:

Sweater: J.Crew* (On sale!) / Skirt: J.Crew* (Recent sample sale find), lots of similar skirts here / Bag: C.Wonder (Sold out), similar here with a bow by Kate Spade / Watch: Marc Jacobs, also loving the wrap version, and the tealbrownrose goldblack, and multi-colored versions! / Pumps: Kenneth Cole, similar here by Franco Sarto, here by Madden Girl (Save!), here by Cole Haan (Splurge, but so worth it. Super comfortable, and comfort matters!), here again by Cole Haan (More affordable and just as comfortable!) and here AGAIN by Cole Haan (Even better price, and again… So comfortable! Can you tell I love Cole Haan shoes?) / Necklace: C.Wonder, also available in the longer version, and check out the brand’s adorable monogrammed bracelets! / Bracelets: Stella & Dot and C.Wonder (lighter version here) / Belt: C.Wonder (Sold Out), but check out some of the brands’ other belts here! / Sunnies: Kate Spade / Lipstick: Clinique / Earrings: J.Crew*, more affordable version here

The event was particularly exciting for me because I met Alexis Bryan Morgan, Lucky Magazine’s Executive Fashion Director. I’ve been contributing to Lucky Community for a while now, and have loved connecting with readers and other bloggers through it. So fun to meet someone who’s behind the magic. ;)

I also met Sam from La Petite Pear (and her sweet friend!) at the event. Sam and I had been meaning to get together ever since she graciously featured me in her fantastic blog’s “Fashionistas in Flats” series (Thanks, Sam!), but I’d been so darn busy (oh, work and wedding-related stuff) that it just wasn’t happening before the big day. Such a wonderful surprise. She’s absolutely fabulous. I had no idea how much we have in common, too! Now I can’t wait to get together again once I’m all married up! :)

Of course, I fell deeply in love with a ton of C.Wonder products while at the event. Check out the adorable seahorse bangledrawstring dresslemon-print shorts, also available in the dress version, perfect for Julia of Lemon Stripes; and orange sandals pictured above. And cutest thing ever about the night? Mitch–who really isn’t into fashion at all–insisted on coming with me. What an awesome fiancé. :) I’m one very lucky girl. Speaking of Mitch… one month to go! Eeee! Excitement. Check back (much) later tonight for a cutesy one-month-out post. (Typical sap here.)
