I think this is my last New York City post. 😢 I suppose we’ll just have to go back in a month or two, huh?! ;)

This was definitely one of our best days in the city. Things started out chilly, but by the time we made our way up to Central Park, the coats and jackets came off, and it was the most perfect fall day. We visited the Plaza first (which Emma slept through), and then we headed into the park, and did the Literary/Poets’ Walk, Bethesda Terrace, and Conservatory Water. (And a couple of playgrounds, of course.) We absolutely loved showing Emma around, and Emma was in her element–as evidenced by the photos, haha.

We also met up with our friend Mandi, and it was SO good to see her. Mandi, thank you for trekking across the city to hang out with us and let our toddler mess with your Apple Watch. LOVE YOU! ;)

I wore:

My favorite pair of AG jeans, which are currently on sale. They’re SO good. They’re soft and stretchy yet they don’t lose their shape throughout the day. I’d say I wear these jeans the most. :) I also can’t believe that this pair of Hudsons is on sale. Trying so hard to resist.
This Halogen sweater, which is sadly sold out. But there are a ton of other Halogen sweaters on sale! Halogen is one of my FAVORITE brands for sweaters, as I think the quality is always there and the prices are competitive. (I’m wearing this one in these photos.) The $38 Peacoat! It’s amazing, in case you’ve missed the zillion posts I’ve done on it. Runs small. I normally wear a size XS in coats, and I wear a size small in this one.
Those crazy Gucci Brixton loafers. YES, they’re unbelievably comfortable and I walked over five miles in ’em on the first day and zero pain. But you can find muuuuuch more affordable versions here and here, and in leopard here. (So similar, right?!)

And just a reminder that it’s the last week of the Nordstrom Fall Sale. A ton of my fall staples–stuff you see on the blog all the time–are hugely discounted. Here are a few other things you shouldn’t miss:

Holiday heels are a tough thing. They’re SO much fun, but you only get to wear them for like two months. This pair, though, can be worn well into January, February and March. Super cute.
My favorite pair of booties are on sale. I’m loving them in black this year, as I can get away with wearing them at night since they have a slight heel. Insanely comfy; no break-in time. Run TTS.
Brown over-the-knee boots that don’t cost a small fortune. My cousins have these and they all rave about them. They come in black, too!
Waterproof over-the-knee boots. I have them, and they’re FANTASTIC. I don’t understand how they’re waterproof, but they are, and they work amazingly. They might run a little small; I normally wear a size 7.5 and I took these in an 8.
My go-to Tory Burch wedges are on sale. These will go fast! (Run TTS.)

Leather leggings from one of my favorite leggings brands. <– Hahaha; I need to go to sleep.
