As this is my first winter in Chicago (#brrrrrr), I’m in need of as much quality outerwear as I can get my hands on. These photos were taken about a month ago before the cold set in, but I wear my monogrammed Charles River Apparel Soft Shell Jacket constantly under my puffer these days. I love that it’s non-bulky, and that it doesn’t cause me to look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man when I have all my gear on! I also love that when I shed my down coat, I still have a warm, stylish and slim-fitting shell on. Often times, I wear it around the apartment–and even keep it on at casual bars and restaurants. There’s no sense in being miserable in one-degree weather, now is there?!
