So, I had to share the below video with you guys. Last weekend, I went ice skating at the South Street Seaport Ice Rink with Mitch and my brother-in-law, and we brought along the GoPro. (Remember this?) The experience was hysterical. Hehe. (Watch it in 1080p… It’s worth it. ;))
In other news, school wasn’t cancelled yesterday. (Wah-wah.) Ridiculous, right?! I mean, I know I was trying to convince myself that it wasn’t going to happen in an effort to ward off disappointment in the morning, but I was SO disappointed, haha. At least my day was stress-free and relaxing. Because only 12 of my students showed up, I was able to work pretty closely with each one. Lots of laughing and learning. My kind of work day. Getting home was another story, though. Good God. I had to stop in about five stores just to warm up!
Because it’s been so chilly lately, I’ve been kind of bummin’ it. It’s been a while since I’ve dressed up for work or any other occasion, mostly because of frigid mornings. I have to spend about 20-30 minutes outside every morning while commuting… so pants it is! I’m so over winter. Until spring arrives, you’ll find me carrying bright bags to cheer myself up. ;)
