After work on Wednesday, Mitch and I headed down to Alphabet City. It’s one of our favorite neighborhoods in the Big Apple, as Mitch lived there for four years, and I was there for two and a half. One of our most-loved local restaurants there is Croxley’s Ale House, which has amazing wings. They almost always have a crazy deal going on, too. On Fridays, they’re free during happy hour times. On Wednesday, they’re only 20 cents each. The restaurant/bar has a few other locations, too. (Rockville Centre, Long Island–where I grew up–has one, and so does London!)

We went to Croxley’s to celebrate the birthdays of my best friend from childhood, Katie, and Mitch’s best friend from childhood, Shawn. Katie also brought her wonderful boyfriend, John. It was so nice being able to catch up with everyone! We’re going to make a concerted effort to get together more often. :) Oh, and happy Friday, everyone! What are you up to this weekend?!
