🍁 Happy Friday and first day of fall, Friends! Nothin’ quite like a 90-degree day to kick off everyone’s favorite season, huh? ;)
Anyway, we have a big weekend with family and friends. There are so many fun events and gatherings scheduled, and I’m really excited. But why do they tend to fall on the same weekend every month?! 😝
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite finds for fall. What do you have your eye on?!
Say hello to my new coat. I’m obsessed. It’s a classic that J.Crew brought back this year, and when I saw it, I knew it belonged in my coat closet. I apologize in advance for how often I wear it this year. But when you live in Chicago and experience our winters, you need some cheery coats!
The bow mules are back in NAVY. They’re selling out quickly, so swoop up your pair before they’re gone.
THE BEST VEST. Yes, I know. It looks short. But if you order one size up, the length isn’t an issue at all, and it doesn’t get wider. I’ll share photos of me in mine next week, but it’s perfect. I usually order a size small in Patagonia because I find that the brand runs on the smaller side, but I ordered a medium in this vest and it’s just right. Couldn’t recommend more! It’ll go with all your plaid and flannel shirts this year.
GAH! I am so obsessed with an old flannel shirt from J.Crew that looks just like this one. I can’t believe that Factory is carrying a similar one. :)
I’ll be honest and tell you that Stuart Weitzman sent me these boots in navy a few years ago, and I wouldn’t have purchased them on my own. But I adore the Lowlands, and it’s exciting to see that the navy pair is back.
I LOVE THESE PUMPS. I’ve been searching for so long for a pair of block heel leopard pumps, but these are a bit to pricey for me. Has anyone found something a bit more affordable?!
I haven’t been able to feature these on the blog yet because I received them late last year and it’s currently 90 degrees here in Chicago, but I’m obsessed. They’re super soft and easy to get my foot into, and they’re apparently the warmest Bean Boot ever. Chicago winters, I’m fightin’ back this year!
I’m getting velvet leggings this year because I hate wearing dresses in January, February and March in Chicago. My bones are cold. (That’s a Maya quote.) These, I know, will get me through nighttime events and dates!
SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS DRESS. Just ordered it for the upcoming season. It’s velvet, so it’s “in,” but it’s also pretty preppy with that ruffled hem. ;)
